Commissioned for the international Prodigy Collective (2016), Festival Fanfare was premiered by the combined brass sections of the Queensland Youth and Mannheim Youth Symphonies. It is a short and punchy concert opener. For ease of performance, it was written for a standard brass section of 4.3.3.1. The instrumentation can be multiplied at will if larger forces are available.
