Golden Fanfare was written for a larger sized brass section. It features a doubled lower brass section and includes a part for bumper horn. This fanfare was written to commemorate the 50th year of the Queensland Youth Symphony and the titan effort of its chief conductor, John Curro AM MBE, who has been conducting the ensemble since its inception in 1966.
